Ok, I couldn't come up with an interesting blog, so I came up with this one, just play along. Even if you don't care or think this is silly or you live in a big city. Chances are slim that this would ever happen to you...but you never know...or maybe you have had something similar like this happen to you.
You are stranded in a mountain forest...you have only five matches, a knife, a paper clip, 3 granola bars, some beef jerky, an empty soda can, and 2 pieces of rope. Hopefully you are wearing at least a decent sweatshirt, a good pair of jeans, and some good footwear. What do you do? Can you survive?  Or will the bears eventually eat you...ok that's really morbid, lol!  Just pretend you are McGyver if you like. Good luck!

 This guy is a real pain in the neck!
 Heartache tonight! I think I will pass on that.
 Only useful if you're sneaky and you like heat.

A friend sent me this when I was going through some rough times about five years ago. It is a piece of Nelson Mandella's presidential inaugural speech from 1994. Hope you enjoy it!

it is a reminder to keep ourselves healthy too. Making sure we keep the air we breathe and the water we drink clean for today and for the future. To use our resources not for greed, destruction, and exploitation, but in a balanced way. When we don't we will eventually pay a high price for being thoughtless and careless. Happy Earth Day to those who care and also to those who don't so much.

Even Thurston Howell from Gilligan's Island would have at least tried a cookie at the picnic table while talking to the working people of a Pennsylvania town. But nooooo!!!! You're too good for them, Mr. Phony as a $3 bill. I think even Santorum would have at least tasted one of the cookies! The bakery you insulted got a good promo though. Maybe some caviar or creme brouillet would be to your liking. I would personally serve you Spam or Boloney. Ok, let's stop for a second folks. 
This is probably at the point where a conservative blogger here will rail against my words and tell you how great Romney is and how wrong I am to even mention this cookie thing. This blogger would blame everything on the other side and say what a great businessman Romney is and that he would restore our country to it's true greatness finally. Or maybe this blogger just hates Obama for any reason that comes to mind and calls him nasty names and will vote for Romney for that reason. This blogger might even say that Obama is going to take away your gun rights and make you change or take away your religion. This blogger will also use the word socialist and marxist over and over again to describe where are country is headed.
Of course that is a load of bull, considering what extreme, or ultra-conservative Republicans do all the time to this country and what they have done in the past, which is to exploit the people and fool them into thinking they care about them and telling them untruths. They can't fix the deficit without making every good person suffer more. The Democrats can't fix it either, but at least they don't go after hard working people the way Republicans do. All these Republicans yearn for is complete power and if the voters give it to them they will pounce on it and continue their limitless exploitation. There will be no jobs made from these Republicans, you can count on that.
If these Republicans were reasonable it would be a totally different story, but they refuse to and will never probably change their ways. There are some good Republicans, but they are very hard to find these days. I don't believe in everything Obama does, but I sure as hell wouldn't trust most Republicans, considering their cruel and cheating track record.
